Argentina Bicentennial
The Argentina Bicentennial was celebrated on May 25th, 2010.
Celebrating 200 years of independence, Argentina’s Bicentennial festivities included special events throughout 2010 as well as a large celebration on 25 May 2010.
To kick off the Argentina Bicentennial in May 2010, there was a show on May 24, 2010 where artists sing new renditions of patriotic Argentine songs.
On May 25 the festivities for the Argentina Bicentennial included the opening of the new Cultural Center of the Bicentennial in the former Palacio de Correos in Buenos Aires.
The center is a contemporary art museum in Buenos Aires.
