The best time to visit Buenos Aires depends on your personal preference, but there are a few guidelines that most people follow.

Many people that wonder what is the best time to visit Buenos Aires are concerned about the weather.

Buenos Aires is located in the southern hemisphere, so winters run from June to September and summers from December to March.

If weather is the determining factor in your calculation of the best time to visit Buenos Aires, you should visit any time between December and March.

The spring and summer are also pleasant times to visit Buenos Aires, and there are fewer tourists during these times.

If avoiding crowds is important to you, visiting during April, May, October, or November would be a good idea.

While there is no official best time to visit Buenos Aires, sunny weather and fewer crowds are always nice things to have on holidays in Argentina.

Argentina Bicentennial

The Argentina Bicentennial was celebrated on May 25th 2010.

Celebrating 200 years of independence, Argentina’s Bicentennial festivities include special events throughout 2010 as well as a large celebration on 25 May 2010.

To kick off the Argentina Bicentennial in May 2010, there was a show on May 24 2010 where artists sing new renditions of patriotic Argentine songs.

On May 25 the festivities for the Argentina Bicentennial included the opening of the new Cultural Center of the Bicentennial in the former Palacio de Correos in Buenos Aires. The center is a contemporary art museum in Buenos Aires.

If you plan to be visiting Argentina during the bicentennial celebrations in 2010, make sure to look up what special events are going on while you are there.

Transfer airports in Argentina EZE/AEP

The transfer between Buenos Aires EZE (international) airport and Jorge Newbery/AEP (domestic) airport is like most intra-city airport transfers.

Generally close, the drive can take between 30 minutes and 2+ hours depending on traffic and your driver.

Getting into Buenos Aires Ezeiza, you can prebook a car service, take a bus or take a taxi.

The transfer should cost between $15 USD and $40 USD depending on the quality of your transport operation.
